I have always felt sorry for those folks who have allergic reactions to food. You know, like that kid in your class who could never eat shrimp or that guy at the office who has to avoid alcohol at all costs. Yes it's true; people have allergic reactions to some of the weirdest things. My next door neighbor is allergic to all seafood. How does that even happen? Just the mere thought of it gets me bummed out. Man would it stink to be allergic to fish and crab legs.
I can hardly process the burden. Understanding your personal allergic reactions is key to staying safe. If you are allergic to something, you'd surely want to know. Maybe the allergic reaction is rather severe. My cousin is allergic to bee stings. This can turn into one terrifically hairy situation if he actually gets stung. I mean, it's 911 time. Many allergic reactions are no joke. One way to get tested for allergies is simply to visit your local doctor.
This way you can pinpoint any basic allergic reactions you may have. I did this process with my daughter. The doctor will basically scrape the skin slightly, and then apply a drop of the substance over the scrape. If redness occurs, then you have had an allergic reaction. If nothing happens, then you're good to go.
